October 2025 USASBE Newsletter
Dear USASBE members,
It's hard to believe that we are already halfway through the fall semester! As you've been keeping busy, here at USASBE HQ we have been working around the clock, too. So, in this edition of the USASBE newsletter, we wanted to give you an update on what has been going on around USASBE and what it means for you.
First and foremost, we're reimagining our newsletter and email communications (like this one!) to better serve you. Our goal is to keep you informed, while also not overwhelming you. In the coming months you will see a shift in our content, which we hope is for the better. We will be focusing on telling more stories about the USASBE community, getting you important information, and plugging you into high impact opportunities. To accomplish this, we need your help: tell us what you'd like to see in your inboxes, and we will work to make it happen. Have an idea? Let us know.
Outside of that, planning for our 2026 conference in Salt Lake City is in full swing! Registration is now open, and we are currently running an early-bird discount for those of you who register before November 4. Submissions for the conference are currently under review by fabulous members of the community and feedback and acceptances will be sent out in early November. The nomination process for new Longenecker Fellows will be starting soon. Finally, we have put together some exciting Learning Journeys taking place the Wednesday before the conference for those of you who want to join us for some professional development and connecting with peers.
We also have been working on two incredible opportunities for those earlier on in their careers. The application for the USASBE Doctoral Consortium is now open for doctoral students who are pursuing an academic career in entrepreneurship. Soon, we will also be launching the application for the Longenecker Fellows Mentorship Program, designed for those 3-5 years into their career looking for mentorship from our group of experienced fellows. If someone you know is a fit for these programs, we hope you'll share this information and encourage them to apply.
Below, you'll find more information and opportunities curated with you in mind. We encourage you to take a look. We'll be back next month with more news and stories from USASBE. In the meantime, please stay connected by contacting us or engaging with us on LinkedIn.
Sincerely,
Jenn and Grayson from USASBE HQ
