Professional Bio

Gregory Grant is an Entreprenologist and public sector strategist advancing equitable economic development through entrepreneurship. As Chief of Entrepreneurial Development and JSEB Administrator for the City of Jacksonville, he leads policy-driven initiatives that expand access to capital, contracts, education, and community resources for small and emerging businesses. His advocacy has secured millions in funding for local capital access programs and catalyzed municipal legislation supporting small business growth.

With over 25 years of experience spanning military, corporate, and entrepreneurial sectors, Gregory applies a systems-level approach to building inclusive business ecosystems. He has secured and managed competitive national and regional grants from organizations such as the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE) to design and lead scalable workforce development initiatives focused on entrepreneurship.

Gregory earned a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership (Ed.S.) where his academic work focused on entrepreneurship education as a career and technical education (CTE) pathway for students. He also serves as a Program Associate for the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), supporting entrepreneurship education initiatives across the Southeast region. In addition, he serves as an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at Trinity Baptist College, Florida State College at Jacksonville, and the University of North Florida, where he integrates business theory with applied entrepreneurship training.

Gregory is also the creator of several entrepreneurship education frameworks within the emerging interdisciplinary field of Entreprenology, which studies entrepreneurial behavior through the intersecting lenses of philosophy, psychology, sociology, and anthropology.
