Elba Miriam Fuentes

I currently serve as Regional Director of the Entrepreneurship Department at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where I work on the strategic design and scaling of entrepreneurship education across academic programs. My focus is on faculty development, experiential learning models, and building entrepreneurial competencies that can truly live inside institutions—not just in isolated courses.
I hold an MBA with a specialization in Entrepreneurship and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting with honors. Over the years, I have been deeply involved in the design of Tec21 learning units, the regional expansion of Año i under the TeamLabs methodology, and the creation of academic coaching frameworks aimed at strengthening teaching quality, learning outcomes, and faculty performance.
Alongside my academic leadership, I remain actively engaged in entrepreneurial practice. As a co-founder and consultant, I have collaborated with organizations such as PwC, Bimbo, Pemex, Grupo Herdez, and Canacintra, translating real industry challenges into scalable educational experiences.
I am especially interested in cross-institutional collaboration, faculty capacity building, and the design of learning ecosystems that connect entrepreneurship education, organizational practice, and societal impact. I come to USASBE eager to exchange ideas, learn from peers, and explore meaningful collaborations. And why not, to find two new members for my faculty team at México City.
