The Community College Connections SIG is a social interest group to promote and encourage partnerships between university and community college educational communities. Areas of special interest to the group include program funding, curriculum development and transfer partnership opportunities. The group will catalog and promote current projects which are designed to enhance the teaching and student learning in entrepreneurship practice and theory development.

The K-12 Connection Social Interest Group (SIG) is a collective to understand, promote, and encourage partnerships between higher educational communities with K-12 communities. The Group met for the first time at USASBE 2020 New Orleans and has started to determine its mission and direction. Initial areas of interest to the group include collaboration opportunities, determining best practices, and resource development.

The Online Entrepreneurship Education Social Interest Group was created in response to the immediate changes in course delivery mode expected for educators throughout the world. This SIG, however, is looking into the future at how this situation can be seen as an opportunity to develop best practice recommendations for experiential entrepreneurship education to be delivered in online or distance formats.

Why Rural Entrepreneurship: There has been a steady increase in research papers, presentations and charrettes/challenges in the area of rural entrepreneurship and programming at USASBE. Some of the people we met at the 2019 and 2020 conferences that were interested in this topic resided outside of the business school.
