What usually happens is students get subpar feedback too late, and we are frustrated and exhausted. AI completely changed the assessment landscape. Learn to leverage AI to make grading more efficient and effective. Get students more developmental feedback quicker. You can spend less time grading, and the time you do spend can deliver much richer feedback for your students. Leave this session with specific tips and tactics to improve the assessment experience for you and your students.
This workshop will be facilitated by Doan Winkel, John, J. Kahl, Sr. Endowed Chair in Entrepreneurship, Founding Director of the Bill & Sue Donnelly School of Leadership and Social Innovation, and Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at John Carroll University. Doan leverages AI to revolutionize the teacher and student roles. Not surprisingly, he jumped off the cliff when he realized responsible AI use can create stronger human connections between teacher and student and can enable students to more efficiently and effectively develop meaningful skills and mindsets.
As a founder of TeachingEntrepreneurship.org, the team infuses AI into the content delivery, peer interaction, and assessment component of the Experiential Entrepreneurship Curriculum, an award-winning entrepreneurship curriculum that is currently used at over 200 colleges and universities
Doan served on the Board of Directors of the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship for nearly a decade, where he was recognized as a Justin G. Longenecker Fellow for lifetime achievement in entrepreneurship education.
