The USASBE Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship
We are pleased to announce another opportunity for our members who have an interest in Social Entrepreneurship. USASBE will launch its seventh class in the Social Entrepreneurship Certificate Program this October at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. There are eight modules/workshops (listed below) that are required for completion of the certificate. Modules 1, 2, and 3 will be offered for new enrollees and modules 7 & 8 are offered for returning attendees. For new enrollees, modules 4, 5 and 6 will be offered at the USASBE 2016 conference in San Diego, California. Module 7 (the final Module, which includes mini presentations by participants of 10 minutes) will be conducted by video conference, on a day a time to be mutually determined by the enrollees and the Certificate Program administrators. - Legal Issues in Social Entrepreneurship
- Dynamic Business Models
- Funding Social Ventures
- Social Venture Plan Development
- Measuring the Impact of Social Ventures
- Implementing the Social Entrepreneurship Curriculum and Venture Plan

Faculty who have developed the curriculum, and who will be delivering the modules, are among the top faculty in this emerging field of Social Entrepreneurship, so you will be learning from the best. Each module also offers a set of resources, such as PowerPoint presentations, cases, articles, annotated bibliography of literature with links to on-line resources and an assortment of class exercises/assignments used by faculty teaching social entrepreneurship. These resources are offered exclusively to certificate participants.
The cost for the Social Entrepreneurship Certificate, including attendance in eight modules, assessment of a final deliverable from the enrollee, and all resources provided is $1,500.

WHO SHOULD ENROLL
The Social Entrepreneurship Certificate is ideally suited for faculty who are considering a new course in Social Entrepreneurship or others who wish to improve a current course with state-of-the-art curriculum enhancements. Participants may also include non- profit leaders who are interested in the latest trends in social enterprise. The final product (required for completion of the certificate) is a fully developed syllabus or business plan for a Social Venture. Upon completion of the certificate, a letter of accomplishment will be sent to the designated official at the university where the social entrepreneurship course will be offered.
