The USASBE Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship
In Collaboration with UMKC | NYU-STERN | UNT
We are pleased to announce a special opportunity for our members who have an interest in Social Entrepreneurship. In fall 2012 USASBE launched its first ever certificate in Social Entrepreneurship in collaboration with New York University, the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and the University of North Texas. There are eight modules (workshops) that are required for completion of the certificate. The modules will be offered at the UMKC Midwest Symposium on Social Entrepreneurship May 20-21, 2013, 10th Annual NYU-STERN Conference on Social Entrepreneurship in November, and at the USASBE 2014 conference in January. LEARN FROM TOP FACULTY IN SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Faculty who have developed the curriculum, and who will be delivering the modules, are among the top faculty in this emerging field of Social Entrepreneurship, so you will be learning from the best. Each module also offers a set of resources, such as PowerPoint presentations, cases, articles, annotated bibliography of literature with links to on-line resources and an assortment of class exercises/assignments used by faculty teaching social entrepreneurship.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
The Social Entrepreneurship Certificate is ideally suited for faculty who are considering a new course in Social Entrepreneurship or others who wish to improve a current course with state-of-the- art curriculum enhancements. The final product (required for completion of the certificate) is a fully developed syllabus.
COST The cost for the Social
Entrepreneurship Certificate, including attendance in eight modules and
all resources provided, will be $1,500.
Additional conference
registration fees at USASBE 2014, the NYU-STERN Conference on Social
Entrepreneurship, and the Midwest Symposium on Social Entrepreneurship
are required and are not included in the certificate fee. For USASBE Social Entrepreneurship Certificate participants,
the Midwest Symposium on Social Entrepreneurship registration fees have been waived.
PAYMENT
The non-refundable and non-transferable certificate fee,$1500, is payable to USASBE, and is due by May 15, 2013. MORE INFORMATION
